Coming from an organic-first background, Great Place to Work's aggressive sales goals pushed the team to explore additional channels, including paid search and social.
Like every marketing & communications team expanding to new channels, the Great Place to Work team not only needed to deliver on results but also accumulate structural insights and skills.
As such, Great Place to Work initially tasked Quantads with implementing a full scale data & performance marketing program, including end-to-end tracking, dashboarding, paid search and social campaigns.
Additionally, the Quantads team helped train the Great Place to Work staff to maximize opportunities that were directly related to Pay Per Click campaigns: analytics, CRO and UX/UI.
To avoid unnecessary cash burning, Quantads started with a small-scale, proof of concept SEA campaign. It leveraged available historical data as well as team member interviews and a thorough benchmark.
A few weeks in, the Quantads data & analytics team identified several opportunities around copies and conversion rates to really make SEA a profitable channel.
To save on resources, both teams agreed to experiment with copies first. Three months in, the click-through rate had improved 5x thanks to a more focused, performance-oriented messaging.
Following these initial successes, Quantads then assisted with conversion rate improvement by guiding and training the Great Place to Work team on UX/UI, CRO and CRM analytics.
With an improved foundational structure, Quantads then expanded SEA efforts and initiated the paid social program with LinkedIn Ads.
Eventually, those combined efforts paid off by increasing MQLs by 42% while decreasing cost per MQL by 9%.
